Current Projects

These images are of a restoration project of an antique mirror.

This mirror was owned by Meredith Miles Marmaduke.  Marmaduke made his money blazing the trails to Santa Fe, New Mexico (Santa Fe Trail) in 1828.  He was late governor of Missouri, and the mirror was in the Governor’s mansion in 1842.  Marmaduke’s son, John Soppington Marmaduke was a Confederate General in the Civil War and later was also Governor of Missouri.
